We asked for cotton dobby—what polyester option replaces it?

Cotton dobby on an RFQ usually describes the figure—a small woven texture on a cotton base—rather than a fiber you cannot move. If the drawing your team approved is about dots, diamonds, or a fine grid, a polyester dobby ground typically covers the same look with easier care and mill-direct pricing. If the brief is really about a soft washed hand with a light crinkle, our washed-cotton-finish polyester is the closer stand-in.

Send the motif or a swatch photo plus target GSM, width, and end use, and we will match the closest polyester construction or quote a custom weave from 5,000 meters. Approve the figure and hand on a physical sample before bulk—screens render texture unreliably.
